Canada was awesome, and it was great to have some time to reflect and to think about some new opportunities/possibilities for the fall. We’re back in Madrid now, and I’m really looking forward to having more (kid-free) time to work on some of these! In my spare time I’ve been doing a course on creating adaptive e-Learning courses, which I’m really enjoying. I will definitely be adding this to my list of services shortly.
Oh ya, here’s that kitty rescue logo I mentioned before:
This is a small organization right now, but it’s a great cause and it was a really fun logo to do.
So we’re more than halfway through our quarantine, and it hasn’t been too bad! We’ve had pretty great weather and a big yard to enjoy it in.
There has been frisbee, races, trampoline jumping and even marshmallow roasting. And Netflix of course. I have had a new project to keep me busy, a logo for a kitten rescue, which I’ll be sharing soon.
We’ve read ‘Strega Nona’ about a hundred times, and love the illustrations.
There’s no denying we’re cooped up but it’s still a welcome change from sweltering Madrid! I’ve got some time to work on some creative stuff as well, so I can’t complain.
The last few months have definitely been a roller coaster! The global economy, nor life in general, will be the same for a really long time, if ever. 2020 has not gone as anyone planned, but sometimes that’s the best time to make a change. All businesses have had to acclimatise (those who want to survive, anyway). I’ve taken this time to recreate PD’s website, as it had been the same for a few years, and in the coming months I’ll be working on adapting to the needs of my clients, and also cultivating some new beginnings.
To start off though – to Canada for 5 weeks! I’m really excited about a change of atmosphere, and everything that goes along with going home. Although I have two homes now. What could be better?
